This depends on the size of the group and time and date of the sitting. The larger the group, the longer it takes, therefore it is advisable to book ahead to guarantee the time you want. Of course weekends, school and public holidays are the busiest times and you may not get a chance if you don't book.
What is the process?
Firstly our friendly staff will show you some examples of our work and you choose the theme. Then they will select appropriate sized costumes for you to choose from. Once you have put the costume on, we will accessorise you which might include jewelry, hair pieces, gloves & fans for ladies & ties, braces, hats for men (depending on the theme).
When you are all dressed and ready we will take the photos. While you are changing back into your day clothes we will download the photos ready for you to view when you come out.
You then view and select the photos you want and they will be printed for you on the spot ready for you to take home and show off to your friends and family.

what costumes do you have?
Guns
N Garters has hundreds of different costumes for you to choose from.to turn you into any character you wish to be.
They include Southern Belle and Confederate Soldier, Maverick Gambler
and Saloon Girl, Rancher (Cowboy) and Pioneer Woman, Sheriff, Cowgirl, Indian
& Squaw, Outlaw, Bartender, Piano Player, Preacher, Gangster,
Gangster Moll, Godfather, Charleston Queen, Great Gatsby, Silver Screen Sirens & Stars of the 20's & 30's (short and Sassy or long, sleek and glamorous), Showgirl, Flapper Girl, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Victorian Lady and Gentleman,
Edwardian Lady & Gentleman. We have something for everybody to wear
from newborn (christening robe) to the mature aged grandparents.
What scenes can we have?
For
the Traditional Victorian or Edwardian setting we have a parlor and
piano. The Gangster we use piano and bar, and the Wild West has
piano, saloon doors, bar and gambling table. We also have a claw foot
bath and bedroom setting for the Bordello Bath House setting
Do you have your own ideas?
If
you have a pose in mind, we will be happy to try it out for you, in
fact we have experimented with many different poses to get the best
shots.
How long will it take?
Because Guns N Garters provides a fun experience, not just a photo, it takes a little longer. We take approximately 20 photos during a sitting and therefore takes between 45 minutes to an hour depending on the number of people we need to dress.
What size photos can I buy?
Currently we offer 3 sizes from A down to postcard size. We also offer all your photos on disco
Do we charge for Babies & Pets?
Yes, although we love children and animals, they are much more challenging and time consuming. Remember children are at their best when they have been fed and rested. Your photos of them will then be classics.
Can I get my photos in colour?
Yes, we are happy to print you out a colour copy. This is a personal choice. Some people like to have their photo in colour, or black and white however Sepia is more authentic and probably 95% of our customers prefer Sepia.
Can I get copies at a later date and where do you ship to?
At anytime in the future you are able to get copies of your photos by either calling us or emailing. We keep all sepia photos on file. All you need to do is provide us with your sitting number, name and address and which photo you want. Once we have the details we will let you know how much the shipping costs will be. We have shipped to as far away as U.K. If for any reason you have lost your sitting number there may be a way of finding them if you have an approximate date and can describe your theme and members of the group.
Do you sell Gift Vouchers?
Yes we can. Can't think what to buy that special person? These are a wonderful gift for all sorts of occasions - Christmas, birthdays, weddings (the couple who has everything), You nominate the price you want to pay from $40 on upwards.
Can I put my photos on Myspace, Facebook or any other profile sites?
Guns N Garters own the Copyright to the photos, however we are happy to allow you to put your photo on these sites providing you acknowledge where they were taken. Something like "These pics were taken at Guns n Garters Old Time Photography at Mooloolaba". You can also add your comments, hopefully good ones.
What if I don't like my photo?
Here at Guns N Garters we aim to please. We take approximately 20 photos at each sitting therefore, you should find at least one photo the you like. However, if you are still unhappy with any of the photos we can redo the shoot or you simply walk away - no charge. To this date we have never had anybody that is not pleased with the result.
